Hour of Code – December 7-13

Home|Programs|Hour of Code – December 7-13

The Hillsdale Library invites you to participate in the Hour of Code, a national initiative to introduce students ages 6 through 106 to the basics of computer programming. Toward that end, the Library is setting aside some of its computers for the exclusive use of program participants from 3pm to 6pm. You may use our computers to complete the self-guided tutorials found at CODE.ORG. You may also do this from any computer or tablet connected to the internet. Some tutorials do not even require a computer! Please visit HOUROFCODE.ORG for more information and to register.

Print out your certificate when you have completed your hour of code. Present a copy at the Library to select from any of the items in our treasure chest. Supplies are limited so code fast!

All participants will be eligible to win one of 7 LIMITED EDITION HILLSDALE LIBRARY T-SHIRTS. Winners will be randomly selected.  Submit the contact form at the main desk with your Hour of Code Certificate.
