Baring Our Soles

The display cases on our main floor feature the exhibit “Baring our Soles”, brought to the Library by the Center for Hope and Safety.
The exhibit helps victims of abuse on their personal, visual journey. They evoke feelings of despair, happiness, and are filled with memories of life changing events. These shoes are about the victims and their stories. They are no longer just shoes, but symbols of breaking the silence.

The 24-Hour Hotline is (201)-944-9600. The Administrative Office of the Center for Hope and Safety is located at 12 Overlook Ave, Suite A, Rochelle Park NJ 07662. Their phone number is (201)-498-9247. For volunteer opportunities, call Gervonn Rice at (201)-836-1075.
